It started in 2017. Benedikt Biallowons and Christian Hieronimi were standing in front of a broken printer.



The manual was nowhere to be found. Customer service was unreachable. Both agreed: this cannot be how after-sales works.

And that’s how sqanit was born.

Years later, manufacturers still struggle with the same issues. Repeating support requests. Users stuck in frustration. And scattered data across PDFs, PLM systems and portals. The result: manual processes, media disruption and annoyed customers.

At the same time, customer expectations, regulations and new standards like the Digital Product Passport are rising. Traditional tools like ticket systems or knowledge bases leave users alone. Support teams handle tickets instead of solving root causes – lacking the context they need.
